They humoured their mother…. | Sydney Family photography

Whilst out checking out a location for an upcoming clients photoshoot, I took my little ones with me…. Some fun shots from the day! I’m glad the older ones humoured their mother!

Sun, Sand & Family Fun

It’s so cold in Sydney at the moment… Winter has really hit with a vengeance! So I’m hoping that these pics let you picture warm sea breezes, sun and summer to take the edge off the cold – even though they are black and white!!

So just a few pics tonight of my three girls on our family trip to the Gold Coast, Queensland enjoying some quality ‘sister time’ at the beach.

Caitlin wanted to run with her big sisters, but was a little reserved with all that water!

So much sand, and sooo much fun!

I love taking family portraits.

I love to capture those moments when a family interacts with each other, just doing their thing.

The little moments, as time passes, you might forget.

But occasionally, a shoot doesn’t go to plan, and this one didn’t start out too well! Firstly, a mix up with our chosen outdoor location, with me being advised a booking was not needed only to arrive and be told the exact opposite was extremely embarrassing and frustrating. I hate to look unprofessional! Whilst I was trying to sort out this mix up, 8 month old Xavier decided he didn’t like what he was wearing and, well…. number two’s was well represented!

We agreed on an alternative location, Xavier was changed, we took  a quick 20 minute drive and then settled into our session.

These are just a handful of the beautiful images we were able to capture!

Erin and Stacy, thank you both for your patience! Even with our little dramas, I hope I’ve captured you exactly as you wanted. It was an absolute pleasure to spend time with your beautiful family.

Meet Mia ♥

That’s all I do
And if you saw my love
You’d love her too
I love her”

You may remember Sanja from her maternity session. Well two days later, this little treasure was born! Meet Mia….

Sometimes with newborns, sessions never turn out as we plan. We just go with the flow, relax, take some time out and if all else fails, reschedule.

Mia, mum and dad, had a rough night prior to our first session, but before calling it quits, we managed to get some fabulous shots in, but not enough in my book!! Unfortunately, for our second session, dad had to work, so it was just me, mum and Mia! I had so many gorgeous shots to choose from to include on the blog, this is just a handful! I even caught a smile – love it!

What a beautiful family!  Congratulations to you both and welcome to the world Mia! Thank you both again – it was a pleasure!

What a beautiful bump!

“And I know that we can be so amazing
And being in your life is gonna change me
And now I can see every single possibility….”

Well this ‘bump’ has now become a little girl – Mia! Congratulations Sanja and Miljan!

Sanja contacted me a week before her due date to see if we could schedule a time to have some maternity photos done. Our original date was rained out, so we moved the shoot three days later and were presented with some beautiful weather to have these photos done. Lucky for Sanja we squeezed this in just in time as little Mia was born on the Monday!

What a stunning couple and what a beautiful belly! Makes me miss being pregnant! I love pregnant bellies!

Bright eyed boys!

Photographing families  is so much fun! Brothers Jesse and Ethan had the most gorgeous, natural smiles and I love their big, bright eyes!

Such a happy family and just a delight to work with.

Thank you Ronelle, Simon, Jesse and Ethan! So glad you loved your session and I  look forward to next time! 🙂

Is this family gorgeous or what!?

Following on from this post, when we had finished our session, I knew I had more than enough images to present to Natalie and Adrian that were ‘keepers’. In fact, I had too many to choose from! Not because I am good with the camera ;-), but because this family was so easy and natural to photograph! They made my job very easy.

Little Emma was born to be infront of a lens! What a character! And baby Ava’s blue eyes were ah mazing! Both Nat and Adrian are so comfortable and relaxed with each other and this showed in how gorgeous all their images were, both alone, together and with the girls.

Thank you both so much for trusting me to capture you both and your beautiful little girls! It was my pleasure!

And as I couldn’t bear to limit the viewing to just a few pics, here are a few more than just a few!
